Great write up! So awesome to know that fans in India were watching Gary Payton at the same time I was while back home in Seattle. I'll never forget how frustrated I was visiting India over the summer of 1993 and found it impossible to get updates on the Sonics playoff run. Eventually I called my dad and found out that they lost to the Suns in Game 7 of the Western Conference Finals.
